Catering To Critters – A Promise Born From Love, Loss, and One Brave Bunny 

Catering To Critters isn’t just a brand. It’s not a business idea or a passion project. 
It’s a memorial, a promise, and a commitment — all born from the life of one extraordinary rabbit. 

Ollie wasn’t just a pet. He was my child. My son. My firstborn. 
He came into my life like sunshine — gentle, mischievous, full of personality and warmth. For over 10 years, he was my world. And like any parent, I did everything I could to give him a good life. 

But in his final eight months, everything changed. 
Ollie started suffering from chronic dental issues and recurring snuffles. We tried everything — surgery, multiple vet consultations, a long list of medications. He fought harder than I’ve ever seen any soul fight. With all his strength. With all his will. He was so, so brave. 

But nothing worked. And when the time came, I lost him. 

I wasn’t prepared for the grief that followed. I was completely lost — hopeless, broken, and haunted by the feeling that I couldn’t save him. The cost of care was high. Two packs of Critical Care cost me nearly ₹9,000. Getting the right supplements or probiotics took weeks — even months. And by the time things arrived, it often felt too late. 

It took me six months to even begin to function again. 
And when I finally found the strength to breathe through the grief, I made a decision: 

No other rabbit — no other parent — should ever have to go through this. 

That’s how Catering To Critters was born. 

Not as a company. But as a mission. 
A way to make quality nutrition, recovery support, and essential care accessible right here in India. 
A way to ensure that no bunny is left untreated because something was out of stock, unavailable, or stuck in customs. 
A way to give back what Ollie gave me — love, purpose, and the will to fight for something better.
